April Fools…in November

Making the rounds on YouTube recently is an audio feed of two comedian radio hosts playing a prank on Governor Sarah Palin. The result is a portrayal of Palin as a truly unprofessional, unprepared, and inexperienced “politician” unfit to run this country. This prank is detrimental to the McCain campaign and, much to the dismay of Governor Palin, is damaging to Palin’s image and possible future hopes of running in 2012, 2016, and beyond. Diva Girl

Much chatter has been generated around the GOP lately. Yes, there is a Presidential race going on that will culminate - granting there is no tie in electoral votes - this coming Tuesday, November 4th. But no, this chatter is not really about the rise of the Republican party to power and the GOP entering the final leg of the Presidential race with a clear lead. Try this one on for size. In a recent ...

Much talk has been made over the lack of experience Governor Sarah Palin brings with her to the Oval Office (if reached). Even more talk has been made of her outside relation to politics, even referencing herself as an outsider. And as of late, Palin has become a household name, a household face, and a laughing matter. How did she become a relatively unknown Governor from Alaska to a well-known and well-disregarded Vice Presidential candidate for the Republican ticket this election year? The Me...

Governor Sarah Palin

It was only a few weeks ago that Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska was introduced to the world as the Republican Vice Presidential nominee. A seemingly unknown woman, a year and a half into her first term as Governor of the state of Alaska, Palin was thrown onto the international floor. I remember waking up the morning the McCain camp announced they had picked Palin to be his running mate to the sound of my dad yelling on Skype to our relatives in Brasil. “Obama just won the election!” he screa...
