An SNL Digital Short

Another hilarious SNL Digital Short courtesy of the crew of theloneyisland. This video is getting over half a million views a day now on YouTube. I first watched it at around 10,000 views. Then it hit the front page of Digg, and its audience exploded. Enjoy in HD glory.

01.20.09

Oh won’t we miss the glory days of George W. Bush as the President of the United States. Nearing the end of his second term, Bush’s approval ratings are setting all-time records. His international reputation is continuing to increase in the direction it has for the past few years. And yet, sadly, his last day in office will be the first day of change for the United States of America. January 20th, 2009 could not come a day sooner. Hopefully you were catching on to the sarcasm in my tone above. ...

April Fools…in November

Making the rounds on YouTube recently is an audio feed of two comedian radio hosts playing a prank on Governor Sarah Palin. The result is a portrayal of Palin as a truly unprofessional, unprepared, and inexperienced “politician” unfit to run this country. This prank is detrimental to the McCain campaign and, much to the dismay of Governor Palin, is damaging to Palin’s image and possible future hopes of running in 2012, 2016, and beyond. Where’s Joe?

With only days remaining until American’s go to the polls in what are expected to be record breaking numbers, both candidates are stepping up their game. Barack Obama has certainly used his campaign funds effectively, making his cause known, and his resolutions within reach. Carrying a significant lead into the final week of campaigning, Barack Obama has seen recent success in key battleground states. Colorado and Nevada are now both expected to award their electoral votes to Democratic Presiden...

An Endorsement from Yosemite Sam

Making prime-time news once again was Barack Obama last night on The Colbert Report, where Stephen Colbert himself made his endorsement public, and offered some suggestions to Obama’s running mate, Senator John McCain: There are plenty of things out there that you can endorse, but not support. (Like the Constitution) No, I am voting for John McCain. He may be in an uphill struggle in these final days, but I believe he can still win! He just needs to do something to prove he has the judgement to...

Stumped

Not to beat this topic to death, but Governor Sarah Palin’s qualifications keep being questioned, and rightfully so. The question was brought up: Wasilla, Alaska - just what DO they DO? John Stewart’s The Daily Show recently reported on this topic. A show that can actually be quite informative, equivalent to watching a news segment, I was amazed and quite frankly shocked, but not surprised, at how little the Mayor could articulate her position and duties. Try this one on for size. In a recent ...

Don't Vote

It is more important than ever to go out and vote, a statement I can not stress enough. The last eight years have not only changed our nation, they have changed the world. From political relations to economic markets, the world has become a worse place because of the Bush administrations agenda. What was once an economic system in surplus under the Clinton administration, George W. has managed to muster up a multi-trillion dollar deficit. The election is less than a month away, and change is not...
